The invention relates to a rotary ship lift, and belongs to the field of water conservancy construction traffic facilities. Two rail round rotating discs of ship reception chambers which are symmetrically balanced in round holes are placed on more than two rotating seats with face-up arc belt wheels, and a dam can be quickly lifted and descended to pass through the dam without retardation when a ship is loaded and rotated by a half circle; the facility is simple and safe, adapts to large changes of water levels inside and outside the dam, and is low in investment, high in construction speed, convenient to use and low in cost.
