The invention provides a fire prevention plugging device and a plugging method thereof. The fire prevention plugging device comprises a plugging panel, a steel frame and a magnet strip; the plugging panel comprises a panel frame, a first fire prevention gypsum board, a second fire prevention gypsum board and fire prevention rock wool, the first fire prevention gypsum board and the second fire prevention gypsum board are separately fixed to the opposite two sides of the panel frame, the fire prevention rock wool is arranged between the first fire prevention gypsum board and the second fire prevention gypsum board in a filling mode; and the steel frame and the plugging panel are arranged in a hole of a building, the steel frame is fixedly connected to the building, the magnetic strip is installed on the first fire prevention gypsum board of the plugging panel, and the plugging panel is detachably connected to the steel frame through the magnetic strip. According to the fire prevention plugging device and the plugging method thereof, the plugging panel with fire resistance is used, and the plugging panel is detachably connected to the steel frame built in the hole, effective fire prevention plugging is achieved, and the requirement of opening for maintenance in daily time is met.
