The invention discloses a high-altitude falling object intercepting system and method, relates to the field of safety and particularly relates to a high-altitude falling object intercepting system which is used for intercepting a high-altitude falling object. The system comprises a radar monitoring device, a control device and an ejection device, wherein the radar monitoring device is used for monitoring the detection area to obtain the falling object risk information and sending a monitoring signal according to the falling object risk information, the control device is connected with the radar monitoring device and is used for receiving the monitoring signal and sending an interception instruction according to the monitoring signal, and the ejection device is used for ejecting the interception device according to the interception instruction so as to intercept the high-altitude falling object through the interception device. The system is advantaged in that whether a high-altitude falling object exists is monitored in real time through the radar monitoring device, the monitoring signal is sent to the control device to generate the interception instruction, the interception deviceis ejected out according to the interception instruction to intercept the high-altitude falling object, the high-altitude falling object and ground assets and equipment can be protected to the maximumextent, and meanwhile if the high-altitude falling object is a life entity, damage to the life entity is reduced to the maximum extent.
