The invention provides a high-chlorine desulfurized gypsum plaster board and a preparation method thereof. The gypsum plaster board comprises a board core and surface protection paper on the outer side of the board core. The board core is prepared from, by mass, 100 parts of desulfurized gypsum raw material; 60-75 parts of water; 0.5-10 parts of zeolite; 0.05-0.2 part of glass fibers; 0.2-1 part of retarder; and 0.2-1 part of starch. The side, contacting with the board core, of the surface protection paper is coated with the zeolite. The preparation method of the board core comprises the following steps of: crushing the zeolite and desulfurized gypsum raw material, drying and grinding the zeolite and desulfurized gypsum raw material, and mixing the dried and ground zeolite and desulfurizedgypsum raw material with the glass fibers to obtain a mixture; mixing the water, retarder and starch to prepare a mixed solution; uniformly mixing the mixed solution with the mixture to obtain gypsumslurry; and spraying the gypsum slurry on surface protection paper sprayed with a zeolite starch solution in advance, and carrying out molding, solidification, drying, laminating, edge sawing, edge sealing and packaging to obtain the gypsum plaster board.
