The invention discloses a gypsum plaster board which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.2-1.0 part of a component A and 5-20 parts of a component B, wherein the component A is a zeolite-loaded formaldehyde removing agent, and the component B is a mixture of phosphogypsum and modified zeolite. The invention further provides a preparation method of the gypsum board. According to the preparation of the gypsum plaster board, part of the phosphogypsum is used for replacing desulfurized gypsum; the different components are mixed into different slurries; the slurries are subjected to layered pressing to prepare the gypsum plaster board; and therefore, a formaldehyde removing effect is achieved.
