The invention provides a self-propelled assembly based on motor driving and mowing equipment with the self-propelled assembly. The self-propelled assembly comprises a driving device, a first speed change mechanism, a second speed change mechanism and a driving output assembly, wherein the output end of the driving device is connected with the first speed change mechanism; the first speed change mechanism is meshed with the second speed change mechanism; the second mechanism is connected with the driving output assembly; the driving output assembly comprises a rotating shaft, a first chuck, a first gear module and a second chuck; the rotating shaft sequentially penetrates into the first chuck, the first gear module and the second chuck; outer side teeth of the first gear module are meshed with the second speed change mechanism; at least one centrifugal module is arranged in the first gear module and comprises a shell, a sliding block, a guide rod and an elastic component; and the sliding blocks can be arranged in the shells in a sliding mode along the guide rods. Through the design, the mowing equipment with the self-propelled assembly can realize mutual switching between manual operation and automatic operation according to occasions, variable multi-scene operation is realized, and the operation efficiency of the whole machine is improved.
