The invention relates to the technical field of artificial sand, especially to a preparation method of natural efficient artificial sand for precoated sand. The preparation method comprises the following steps that 0.8-3 parts of quartzite is uniformly fed into a jaw crusher by a vibrating feeder for crushing; coarsely crushed ore particles are conveyed to a cone crusher by a belt conveyor for intermediate crushing; after intermediate crushing, the ore particles are sent into a 8-to-40-mesh sieve for screening; the ore particles meeting requirements are fed into a sand making machine for finecrushing and shaping; the ore particles with proper particle size are conveyed to a sand washer for cleaning and impurity removal treatment; the quartz having undergone cleaning and impurity removal are added into a stirring device, 0.4-3 parts of a modifier is added, and stirring is conducted for 10-20 minutes; and a uniformly mixed material obtained in the above step is feed into a drying device, the temperature in the drying device is adjusted to 90-120 DEG C, drying is carried out for 40-80 minutes, and after drying by the drying device, cooling is conducted to obtain the granular artificial sand.
