The invention relates to a microwave dielectric ceramic material as well as a preparation method and an application thereof. The preparation raw materials comprise main components and auxiliary components, wherein the main components comprise (X+2Y) moles of MgO or Mg(OH)2, Y moles of SiO2, Z moles of CaCO3 and (X+Z) moles of TiO2; X, Y and Z meet the following conditions: X + Y + Z = 1, X is greater than or equal to 0.85, and less than or equal to 0.92, Y is greater than or equal to 0.04 and less than or equal to 0.11, Z is greater than or equal to 0.04 and less than or equal to 0.065; and the auxiliary components comprise the following components in percentage by mass: 0.10%-0.50% of an auxiliary component A, 0.05%-0.30% of an auxiliary component B and 0.20%-0.80% of an auxiliary component C based on the total mass of the whole microwave dielectric ceramic material. The microwave dielectric ceramic material has the advantages of high dielectric constant, high quality factor, frequency temperature coefficient close to zero and lower sintering temperature, can prevent the size deformation in the sintering process, and is suitable for the field of 5G communication.
