The invention provides a steel bar sleeve joint. The steel bar sleeve joint comprises an outer sleeve, a first connecting sleeve and a second connecting sleeve, wherein the first connecting sleeve isin screw joint with the end of a first steel bar, and the second connecting sleeve is in screw joint with the end of a second steel bar; external threads are arranged on at least parts of the outer walls of the first connecting sleeve and the second connecting sleeve; internal threads are arranged on the inner wall of the outer sleeve, and the outer sleeve is in screw joint with the external threads of the first connecting sleeve and the second connecting sleeve, so that the first connecting sleeve and the second connecting sleeve are fixedly connected; and a guide head is arranged at the end,close to the second connecting sleeve, of the first connecting sleeve and inserted into a through hole of the second connecting sleeve. A construction method of the steel bar sleeve joint is furtherprovided. According to the steel bar sleeve joint, after the steel bar is connected with the sleeve joint, no gap exists, and the fault-tolerant capacity is high.
