The invention discloses an asphalt concrete pavement and a paving construction method thereof, which belong to the technical field of pavement paving. The asphalt concrete pavement comprises a surfacelayer; the surface layer comprises an upper surface layer, a waterproof layer, a middle surface layer and a lower surface layer; and the upper surface layer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 84 to 90 parts of asphalt, 10 to 15 parts of a modifier, 1450 to 1550 parts of gravel, 180 to 195 parts of river sand and 90 to 100 parts of filler; the middle surface layer isprepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 82 to 86 parts of asphalt, 8 to 10 parts of a modifier, 1480 to 1570 parts of gravel, 185 to 198 parts of river sand and 93 to 98 parts offiller; the lower surface layer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 75 to 82 parts of asphalt, 5 to 8 parts of a modifier, 1350 to 1470 parts of gravel, 195 to 205 partsof river sand and 100 to 110 parts of filler. The asphalt concrete pavement disclosed by the invention is good in drainage property and high in strength.
