The trimmer of shrub vegetation in a municipal road green belt comprises a top body and two support bodies, wherein the two support bodies are arranged on the left and right symmetrically, the support bodies are fixed on the bottom surface of the top body, and a power mechanism capable of rotatably trimming the vegetation is arranged between the two support bodies; and the power mechanism includes a trimming cover, lifting cavities with openings towards the outside are formed in the sides, close to each other, of the two support bodies, and lifting blocks are arranged on the walls of the sides, away from each other, of the two lifting cavities vertically and slidably. Trimming knives are installed on theinner wall of a trimming cavity, the vegetation is trimmed rotatably during rotary falling of a trimming hood, the efficiency is higher, and the periphery of the vegetation is trimmed and formed directly in one step, so that a fixed appearance is formed by the vegetarian; and meanwhile, fallen leaves on the left side and right side of the green belt can be cleaned during rising of the trimmer after trimming is completed.
