The invention provides an early warning type highway height-limiting stopping device. The device comprises first supporting parts, and the first supporting parts are arranged on the two sides of a road correspondingly. The first supporting parts are oppositely arranged. The inner part of each first supporting part is hollow, connecting boxes are fixedly connected to the right sides of the first supporting parts and located at the lower ends of the notch grooves. A driving device is transversely arranged in each connecting box; and second supporting parts are fixedly connected to the right sides of the connecting boxes. The upper end of each second supporting part is rotationally connected with a height limiting rod. Warning devices are fixedly connected to the ends, away from the second supporting parts, of the height limiting rods; an opening groove is formed in the right upper end of each second supporting part; and a notch groove is formed in the upper end of each first supporting part. A connecting shaft is rotationally connected between the upper end and the lower end in each first supporting part; the upper end of each connecting shaft is fixedly connected with a second gear,and the upper ends, located at the notch grooves, of the connecting shafts are fixedly connected with intercepting devices. The early warning type highway height-limiting stopping device solves the problems that a traditional height-limiting frame is single in function, and replacement and maintenance cost is high after intelligent equipment is damaged in the prior art.
