The invention discloses a self-resetting steel frame lateral force resistance system. The system comprises foundations, steel columns, beams, a cantilever wall and dampers, wherein a foundation beam is horizontally fixed between the foundations; the steel columns are vertically arranged on the tops of the foundations, and the bottom ends of the steel columns are connected to the foundations to form a self-resetting column foot structure; the beams are arranged horizontally, and the ends are connected to the side walls of the steel columns; the steel columns and the beams connected on both sides form a self-resetting node structure; the cantilever wall is fixed between the foundations and the adjacent beams above or between two adjacent beams arranged up and down; the middle part of the cantilever wall forms a fracture; and the dampers are fixedly connected to the upper and lower sections of the fracture. By using the self-resetting steel frame lateral force resistance system provided by the invention, the earthquake is resisted by relying on the elastic deformation of the structure when the earthquake is frequently encountered; when the earthquake is rarely encountered, the structural nodes are opened, the self-resetting structure and the dampers make plastic deformation to dissipate the seismic energy to jointly ensure that the nodes and the column feet have good self-resetting performance, thereby realizing the side force resistance, energy consumption and self-resetting function of the whole system.
