This titania porous body 10 is provided with: a titania skeleton 12 which is composed entirely of titania, and forms a three-dimensional network structure; primary pores 14 which are a network part ofthe three-dimensional structure; and secondary pores 16 provided in the surface of the titania skeleton 12. This titania porous body 10 is also referred to as a titania monolith.
