The invention provides an adjustable metal support for hanging tiles. The adjustable metal support comprises a support wooden tray, a screw rod and a sleeve pipe connecting piece matched with the screw rod, wherein the top end of the sleeve pipe connecting piece is fixedly connected with the bottom end of the support wooden tray, and the screw rod is in threaded connection with the sleeve pipe connecting piece. According to the adjustable metal support, the support wooden tray can be directly mounted on a structural layer of a slope roof through the screw rod and the sleeve pipe connecting piece matched with the screw rod without laying another concrete layer, so that the construction is more convenient and faster. A lot of cement and mortar do not need to be used, so the environmental pollution is avoided. Moreover, the height of the support wooden tray can be adjusted by the mutual matching between the screw rod and the sleeve pipe connecting piece, and thus the flatness of the roofis conveniently adjusted.
