The invention discloses a handrail with a safety protection device. The handrail is slightly different from a common handrail under normal conditions, but when a child approaches the handrail, the safety protection device can be triggered, firstly, the safety protection device can give an alarm to remind adults around tostop the child from continuing to approach, secondly, obstacles with small gaps can be arranged between the handrails to prevent children from penetrating through the handrails, finally, the lower portions of the handrails stretch out of a pocket net to prevent the children from forcibly penetrating through the handrails to hold the falling children, and it is guaranteed that the children are prevented from falling from a high position through a series of measures.
