The invention discloses an auxiliary rainwater drainage system for a road. The auxiliary rainwater drainage system comprises a road pier, wherein a road layer and a soil layer are arranged on the twosides of the road pier respectively; a water cavity is formed in the road pier; the top of the road pier is fixedly connected with a solar cell panel; the solar cell panel is electrically connected with a centrifugal wheel; a liquid leakage opening is formed in the side wall of the top of the road pier; the bottom of the liquid leakage opening is symmetrically connected with two conductive layers;one conductive layer is electrically connected with a centrifugal wheel; the other conductive layer is electrically connected with the solar cell panel; a water inlet is formed in the side wall, close to the road layer, of the bottom of the road pier. The auxiliary rainwater drainage system has the advantages that the road piers in the conventional form are arranged at the edges of the road layerand the soil layer to achieve the automatic conversion effect on rainwater, so the rainwater is transferred into a water purification cavity to be absorbed by roots of purification plants, heavy metal components in the rainwater are absorbed, and the effect of treating road runoff in the road is achieved.
