A temporary fixing method for installation of basement box type steel columns is characterized by including the following steps of a, manufacturing temporary pulling and connecting devices; b, temporarily fixing the box type steel columns; c, pulling and connecting the steel columns in one direction and other directions one by one until the steel columns bear even force in all directions; and d, retightening turn buckles in all directions of the steel columns, thereby preventing the steel columns from offset caused by rebar mechanical splicing. The temporary fixing method for installation of the basement box type steel columns has the advantages that a temporary fixing device is simple in structure and convenient to manufacture and set up, overall stability of pulling and connecting of thesteel columns in all directions is realized, safety and reliability are realized, the fixing device can be recycled in different buildings and projects, and engineering cost is reduced.
