The invention discloses light fireproof partition plate slurry and a preparation method thereof. The light fireproof partition plate slurry is prepared from the following raw materials: magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, a glass fiber net, fly ash, palm fibers, a catalyst and water. The catalyst is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 9.3%-9.8% of sodium abietate, 6.5%-6.8% of sodium alpha-olefin sulfonate, 3.6%-4% of fatty acid diethanolamide, 1.7%-2% of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, 0.2%-0.3% of sodium chloride, 0.2%-0.3% of sodium hydroxide and 75%-80% of water. The preparation method comprises the following step of: a, calcining magnesite at 100-900 DEG C to obtain light calcined magnesia, adding a magnesium chloride solution, and generating crystals under the accompanying condition, thereby generating strength. The light fireproof partition plate has the advantages of low weight, high strength, multiple environmental protection, heat preservation andinsulation, sound insulation, breathing humidifying, fire prevention, rapid construction, wall cost reduction and the like, the reasonably-arranged heat insulation and sound absorption inorganic foaming profiles or other heat insulation materials are arranged on the inner layer, and the wallboard is formed through assembly line pouring, leveling and scientific maintenance.
