The invention discloses a thermal insulation board with a colorful decoration effect and a manufacturing method thereof. The thermal insulation board with the colorful decoration effect comprises an inorganic thermal insulation layer and an organic-inorganic mixed thermal insulation layer, wherein the inorganic thermal insulation layer and the organic-inorganic mixed thermal insulation layer are connected to each other, the inorganic thermal insulation layer and/or the organic-inorganic mixed thermal insulation layer has an additive, and the additive is a coloring agent; and/or, the additive is a waterproofing agent. Through the compatibility of the inorganic materials in the inorganic thermal insulation layer and the organic-inorganic mixed thermal insulation layer, the structural connection strength is strengthened, and the dropping and separation are effectively avoided. At the same time, the color of the raw material composition is made by the additives, so that the surface of thefinal product has a colorful decorative effect and a waterproof effect, with no need for on-site finishing layer construction, and with no problem of insufficient adhesion.
