The invention discloses a supporting device suitable for a scaffold, and relates to the technical field of scaffold supporting devices. The supporting device comprises a platform plate used for installing and supporting the scaffold, a lifting device installed below the platform plate and a jacking device used for positioning the end of the platform plate. The platform plate comprises a rectangular bottom plate; a vertical plate abutting against stairs is arranged at one end of the rectangular bottom plate, two rectangular ring sockets are fixed at the other end of the rectangular bottom plate; the lifting device comprises two guide grooves symmetrically formed and fixed to the lower surface of the platform plate left and right, a sliding table in sliding fit with the two guide grooves, afixing table installed on the lower surface of the platform plate and located at one ends of the two guide grooves and a driving device installed on the lower surface of the fixing table and used fordriving the sliding table; the sliding table comprises a rectangular connecting plate with a lead screw sliding block installed in the middle. According to the supporting device, a horizontal supporting platform is built in a stairway through combination of the platform plate, the lifting device and the jacking device, the jacking device has two auxiliary functions, the structure is simplified, and operation is flexible.
