The invention provides a preparation method of environment-friendly liquid antibacterial diatomite coating, and relates to the technical field of building interior wall decorative materials. The coating is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 to 250 parts of water-based diatomite, 20 to 50 parts of zeolite powder, 15-25 parts of attapulgite, 10-30 parts of kaolin, 8-20parts of sepiolite powder, 90-100 parts of ground calcium carbonate, 40-50 parts of micron-sized titanium dioxide, 120 parts of styrene-acrylic emulsion, 3.50 parts of nano titanium dioxide, 5 partsof propylene glycol, 2.5 parts of a defoaming agent, 3 parts of a bactericide, 20 parts of a dispersing agent and 300-400 parts of water. By adopting a unique formula and utilizing the synergistic effect of the bactericide, the diatomite and the attapulgite, the wall material not only has an interior wall decoration effect, but also can effectively remove formaldehyde, benzene and other harmful gases in room air, purify air and improve the respiratory system of a human body, and the antibacterial function is greatly improved.
