The invention provides a durable luminous pavement brick or curbstone and a preparation method thereof. The pavement brick or curbstone comprises a surface layer and a base layer, the base layer is made of dry hard concrete or pervious concrete, and the surface layer is prepared from, by weight, 5-20 parts of resin, 50-90 parts of quartz sand, and 5-35 parts of luminescent powder. According to thedurable luminous pavement brick or curbstone provided by the invention, the light sensation of a pavement is increased, the construction is convenient, the weather resistance is high, and traffic safety accidents are reduced.
