The invention discloses an opening mechanism of an automobile front cover and a front cover lock mechanism assembly of an automobile. The opening mechanism comprises a fixing base, a nameplate assembly and an inhaul cable, wherein the fixing base is fixed on an air inlet grille of the automobile; the nameplate assembly is rotationally arranged on the fixing base and can turn over relative to the fixing base in the direction perpendicular to the air inlet grille; one end of the inhaul cable is fixedly connected to the inner side of the nameplate assembly, and the other end is connected with a spring bolt of a front cover lock mechanism of the automobile. In the using process, secondary unlocking (namely secondary locking mechanism unlocking) of the front cover can be achieved by turning over the nameplate assembly, operation is convenient and fast, and brand new front cover opening experience is brought to customers; a front cabin plaque does not need to be subjected to trepanning avoidance due to avoidance of a secondary lock shifting button, so that the quality of the second surface of the automobile is improved; and besides, the front cover lock does not need to be integrated ona secondary lock main body, so that the arrangement position is more flexible, the sharing of parts among different vehicle types is improved, and the development cost and the part management cost arereduced.
