The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle engineering, in particular to an automobile front cover lock which comprises a ratchet wheel, a pawl, a manual module and a suction module, the manual module comprises a manual pull rod and a manual driving lever driven by the manual pull rod, the manual pull rod and the pawl are coaxial, the manual pull rod limits the pawl in a one-way mode, and when the front cover lock is unlocked, the manual driving lever is driven by the manual pull rod to rotate. The manual pull rod pulls the pawl through the limiting part so as to enable the pawl to release limiting of the ratchet wheel, the attraction module comprises an active attraction rod, when the front cover lock needs to be attracted, the active attraction rod is driven by the electric actuator to push the ratchet wheel, the pushed ratchet wheel enters the limiting of the pawl, and when the front cover lock is unlocked, the ratchet wheel is driven to move back and forth. When the manual pull rod pulls the pawl through the limiting part, the manual shifting rod is driven by the manual pull rod to push the driving suction rod aside, and therefore interference of the driving suction rod on the ratchet wheel is relieved. The technical problem that in the prior art, an automobile front cover lock cannot achieve the functions of electric opening, electric suction and manual release at the same time is solved.
