The narrow-edge hidden-sash side-hung door and window comprises a window frame and a window sash, wherein the window sash comprises a sash stile and glass embedded in a hole of the sash stile; the sash stile is positioned on the outer side of the window frame; the inner molded surface of the sash stile is flush with the inner molded surface of the window frame; the window sash and the window frame are locked through a driver; the driver comprises a driver main body, a handle and a locking block; the handle is mountedon the inner molded surface of the window frame; the driver main body is mounted in the window frame; a driving plate of the driver main body is positioned on the outer side of the window frame and extends in the vertical direction; a locking point is arranged on the driving plate; the locking block is mounted on the inner side of the sash stile and is matched with the locking point; the handle isrotated to drive the driving plate to move up and down, so that the locking point on the driving plate and the locking block on the inner side of the sash stile are clamped or separated, and the window sash is locked or not locked; a pull handle is further mounted on the sash stile; and the window sash is pushed to be opened or closed through the pull handle.
