The invention provides a tail door limiting device and a vehicle with the same. The tail door limiting device comprises a limiting base, a mounting member, an electric telescopic module and a limitingpin, wherein the limiting base is installed on a vehicle tail door stand column, and a limiting hole is formed in the limiting base; the mounting member is mounted on the tail door; the electric telescopic module is fixed to the mounting member; one end of the limiting pin is fixed to the electric telescopic module; and the electric telescopic module drives the limiting pin to move in the axial direction. When a vehicle is unlocked, the limiting pin contracts, and when the vehicle is locked, the other end of the limiting pin is inserted into the limiting hole for limiting. According to the tail door limiting device, the limiting pin is driven by the electric telescopic module to cooperate with the limiting base to achieve the limiting function. The tail door limiting device is good in limiting effect, and the electric telescopic module is also high in integration degree, small in occupied space and easy to distribute and install.
