The invention discloses a porcelain high-whiteness glazed tile and a preparation method thereof. The porcelain high-whiteness glazed tile comprises a whitening glaze layer, a porcelain green body layer and a surface glaze layer, the whitening glaze layer is located on the bottom face and/or the side face of the porcelain green body layer, and the surface glaze layer is located on the upper surfaceof the porcelain green body layer, wherein the whitening glaze layer is formed by firing whitening glaze, the porcelain green body layer is formed by firing a porcelain green body, the difference value between the melting temperature of the whitening glaze and the melting temperature of the porcelain green body is smaller than or equal to 3 DEG C, and the difference value between the expansion coefficient of the whitening glaze and the expansion coefficient of the porcelain green body is smaller than or equal to 3, and the raw material of the whitening glaze layer comprises zirconium silicate. According to the porcelain high-whiteness glazed tile provided by the technical scheme, the whitening glaze is applied to the tile body, so that the hue of the side surface and/or the bottom surfaceof the glazed tile finished product is consistent with the hue of the top surface of the glazed tile finished product. The invention further provides a preparation method of the porcelain high-whiteness glazed tile, which is beneficial to preventing the whitening glaze from falling off and ensuring the consistent hue of the porcelain high-whiteness glazed tile finished product, and is simple in process and high in operability.
