The invention discloses an antioxidant porcelain glazed tile and a preparation method thereof. The antioxidant porcelain glazed tile comprises an antioxidant glaze layer, a porcelain green body layerand a surface glaze layer, the antioxidant glaze layer is located on the bottom face and/or the side face of the porcelain green body layer, and the surface glaze layer is located on the upper surfaceof the porcelain green body layer; the absolute value of the difference between the water absorption rate of the antioxidant glaze layer and the water absorption rate of the porcelain green body layer is less than 0.5%; and the antioxidant glaze layer is prepared from floor tile frit, calcined talc and apatite. According to the antioxidant porcelain glazed tile provided by the technical scheme, an antioxidant glaze is applied to a tile body, so that the surface hue of the finished glazed tile is consistent, and the anti-oxidation effect is good. The invention further provides the preparationmethod of the antioxidant porcelain glazed tile, the antioxidant glaze can be prevented from falling off, the consistent hue of the porcelain glazed tile finished product is ensured, the process is simple, and the operability is high.
