The invention relates to a glass curtain wall for a prefabricated building, and relates to the technical field of prefabricated buildings. The glass curtain wall comprises multiple glass plates, and the glass curtain wall for the prefabricated building further comprises multiple planar connecting parts used for installing the glass plates, wherein one planar connecting part is installed between every two horizontal adjacent glass plates, each planar connecting part is provided with planar embedded slots allowing the edges of the corresponding glass plate to be embedded, and the slot widths ofeach planar embedded slot are gradually decreased in the direction away from the corresponding glass plate. The widths of the planar embedded slots are gradually decreased in the direction away from the corresponding glass plate so that the glass plates can be conveniently installed into the planar embedded slots; and after the glass plates enter the planar embedded slots, the planar embedded slots are gradually narrowed, and the inner walls of the planar embedded slots gradually compress the edges of the glass plates. In this way, according to the glass curtain wall, small displacements, generated in the planar embedded slots, of the glass plates can be reduced.
