The invention provides an environmentally friendly wall and a preparation method thereof. The environmentally friendly wall includes a wall body, a sliding support member and an isolation layer; the wall body is suitable for being movably arranged on a supporting surface, and the supporting surface is provided with a guiding support member; the sliding support member is connected to the wall body,and the sliding support member is slidably arranged on the guiding support member to move the wall body relative to the supporting surface; and an operation cavity is limited between the isolation layer and the supporting surface, the guiding support member and the sliding support member are located in the operation cavity, and at least a part of the wall body is located in the operation cavity.When building houses, part of the non-load-bearing walls can be installed as the wall body provided by the invention, therefore, when different users are decorating the room, the position of the wallbody on the supporting surface can be changed according to the preferences of different users, and the diversity of the room is met; and meanwhile, the process of smashing the wall and then rebuildingthe wall in another part of the room is avoided; and therefore, the construction waste is reduced, and the purpose of saving and environmental protection is achieved.
