The invention discloses an overhaul climbing frame based on a crane. The overhaul climbing frame comprises a crane rack and a safety harness, wherein a climbing ladder is fixedly connected to the crane rack, a slide is slidably mounted at the upper end of the climbing ladder, the upper end of the slide is slidably connected with the crane rack, and an extending base is fixedly connected to one side of the slide; a buffer mechanism is fixedly arranged on the extending base and comprises a T-shaped rod and a pressure spring, the T-shaped rod is fixedly connected with the extending base through the pressure spring, and the tail end of the T-shaped rod is positioned in an open hole in the extending base; and a safety belt is fixedly connected to the tail end of the T-shaped rod, a positioningplate is slidably mounted on the safety belt, a plurality of threaded holes are formed in the positioning plate, and a plurality of positioning holes are formed in the safety belt. According to the overhaul climbing frame, the length of the safety belt can be adjusted, meanwhile, the safety belt is matched with the T-shaped rod and the spring to reduce stress borne by a user during falling, the safety belt can transversely move on the rack, and overhaul work of the user is more convenient.
