The invention discloses a municipal road guardrail cleaning mechanism. A main shell is included. A top of the main shell is provided with a supporting telescopic arm connected with a sweeper in a power fit mode. A cleaning chamber which passes through in the front-back direction and is provided with a downward opening is formed in the main shell. Containing chambers connected with the cleaning chamber are symmetrically arranged on the left side and the right side of the cleaning chamber. A movable sliding block is connected into the containing chamber in a sliding fit mode. A first motor is fixedly arranged in the wall body on the upper side of the cleaning chamber; an adjusting screw extending transversely is connected into the movable sliding block in a threaded fit mode; one side, closeto the cleaning chamber, of the adjusting screw is in power fit connection with the first motor; a first groove and a second groove with openings facing the cleaning chamber are further formed in themovable sliding block; and the first groove is located in the front side of the second groove, a cleaning rolling brush cylinder is connected into the first groove in a rotating fit mode, and a wiping roller is connected into the second groove in a rotating fit mode. Automatic control is achieved, and working efficiency is improved.
