The problem that the test efficiency is not high when a foundation pile load test is carried out is solved. The construction method for foundation pile load detection based on self-balancing static load comprises the steps that (1) a reinforcement cage is arranged; (2) the reinforcement cage is put down; (3) concrete is poured; (4) a balance beam is arranged, wherein one end of the balance beam is hinged to a first reference pile, the other end of the balance beam is welded to a second reference pile, and then a protection cover is built outside a test pile provided with the balance beam; (5) test loading and unloading are carried out; (6) displacement observation is carried out; (7) loading is stopped; and (8) an annular load box is filled, wherein when the load detection test is finished, whether the test pile is not damaged or not is judged, if the test pile is not damaged, concrete is injected into an oil cylinder of the annular load box through an embedded pipe, the embedded pipe is connected with the oil cylinder of the annular load box through a one-way valve, and the test pile is converted into an engineering pile.
