The invention provides a multifunctional rescue tool control method based on a hydraulic excavator. The method comprises the following steps that S1, a multifunctional rescue tool is replaced for theconventional hydraulic excavator, and an externally-arranged universal integrated module of a control device is mounted to the conventional hydraulic excavator; S2, a control instruction is input through an operation control device and transmitted to a controller through a signal receiver; and S3, after the controller receives the control instruction, an electric control multi-way valve is controlled to distribute pressure oil from a main control valve to the multifunctional rescue tool, thereby realizing the composite action control of the multifunctional rescue tool. According to the multifunctional rescue tool control method based on the hydraulic excavator, the externally-arranged universal integrated module is installed, under the premise of not changing the electrical and hydraulic systems of the original excavator, the control of the multifunctional rescue tool is achieved, the common hydraulic excavator can be quickly transformed into a special rescue engineering machine, and the timeliness of a rescue site is guaranteed.
