The invention relates to the technical field of plates, and discloses a plate capable of reducing formaldehyde content. The plate comprises a plate body, wherein a cover groove is formed in the top ofthe plate body; a filling groove formed in the plate body is formed in the inner bottom wall of the cover groove; the filling groove is filled with a filler; a cover plate is placed on the inner bottom wall of the cover groove; an air hole with one end penetrating through and extending to the lower part of the cover plate is formed in the top of the cover plate; and limiting threaded grooves formed in the plate body are formed in the inner bottom wall of the cover groove and positioned on the left side and the right side of the filling groove. According to the plate capable of reducing the formaldehyde content and a production process thereof, the cover plate, the air hole, the limiting threaded grooves and limiting screws are arranged, when a user uses the equipment, the filler is activated carbon particles, formaldehyde in the environment can be absorbed through the air hole, if the filler absorbs the formaldehyde to be saturated, the limiting screws are rotated to be separated fromthe limiting threaded grooves, the cover plate is taken out, the filler is taken out and replaced, and therefore the filler is easy and convenient to replace.
