The invention discloses a scaffold for building construction with high safety and relates to the field of scaffolds. The scaffold comprises a scaffold body, wherein an inlet/outlet is formed in the middle part of the scaffold body, a ladder driven by a lifting mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the inlet/outlet, a limiting mechanism for limiting the ladder is arranged on the side edge of the ladder, a frame is arranged on the scaffold body in a sleeving manner, a transmission mechanism which controls the frame is further arranged on the side edge of the ladder, and self-adaptive kickstandmechanisms are arranged at four corners of the frame. The self-adaptive kickstand mechanisms can be in contact with the ground self-adaptively according to geographical locations of the corners, so that the operating steps are reduced. By arranging the self-adaptive kickstand mechanisms, the using safety of the scaffold body is improved. By matching the self-adaptive kickstand mechanisms, the transmission mechanism, the lifting mechanism, the ladder and the limiting mechanism synergistically, the time consumed to all steps of controlling the kickstands is partially integrated to a process whena user climbs the scaffold up and down, so that the convenience and the efficiency of using the scaffold are improved greatly.
