The invention discloses a building scaffold with high safety. The building scaffold comprises two portal frames and pedals, wherein the pedals are mounted at the tops of the portal frames; each portalframe comprises a group of vertical rods; two cross rods are welded between the two vertical rods; a hasp is mounted on one side, close to the corresponding portal frame, of each pedal and clamped onthe cross rod above; a connecting rod is longitudinally welded between the two cross rods; a ladder stand is welded between the connecting rod and the vertical rod on one side; protective columns arefixed at the tops of the vertical rods; sliding grooves are symmetrically formed in the adjacent protective columns; protective rods are mounted in the sliding grooves on the same side; two reinforcing rods are mounted on two sides of each portal frame and arranged in a crossed manner; and reinforcing seats are mounted at the bottoms of the vertical rods. The building scaffold is high in safety,can be adjusted according to the body type of a worker working high above the ground and is wide in application range.
