The invention provides a rebar hook for cutting an iron wire head and an iron wire head cutting method and belongs to the construction field of highways, bridges and culverts. The rebar hook comprisesan operating rod and a pair of hook scissors; the operating rod is provided with a first end; a hook body extending towards one side is arranged at the first end of the operating rod and is used forwinding the iron wire head; the pair of hook scissors is rotatably connected with the operating rod through a rotary shaft; a shearing hook matched with the hook body to cut off the iron wire head isarranged at the end, towards the first end, of the pair of hook scissors; a lower pressing rod for pressing downwards is formed at the other end of the pair of the hook scissors; and the shearing hookis provided with an opening towards the first end. The rebar hook is convenient to carry when a worker binds rebars, adopts integrated design, can rapidly cut off an overhang iron wire head, and canprotect safety of the worker and ensures the project quality when a die plate is removed from a concrete component.
