The invention discloses a stage lift with a protection device. The stage lift comprises a box, a lifting cavity is formed in the box, and an upward moving block is slidably connected in the lifting cavity. A protection mechanism for protection is arranged in the box, and the protection mechanism comprises two sliding grooves which are located in the front inner wall and the rear inner wall of thelifting cavity and communicate with the lifting cavity. The pull cavities communicating with the sliding grooves are formed in the inner walls, away from the lifting cavity, of the sliding grooves. The device is simple in structure and convenient to use; when not used, the stage lift is flat, and performance on a lifting table is not influenced; when the stage lift needs to be moved upwards, a guard bar can automatically rises to protect performers on the lifting table, an aerosolizer can be triggered when the lifting table ascends, and a better stage effect is created; and besides, the lifting table starts to rotate only when rising to the top, and the situation that in the rising process, the stage rotates to threaten the safety of the performers is avoided.
