The invention discloses a planting device for reinforced concrete seawall greening. The planting device comprises a flowerpot body and a cultivation part, wherein the cultivation part is inserted intothe flowerpot body in a sleeving manner; the cultivation part comprises side panels, a bottom plate, supporting legs, hinge pieces and a supporting piece; the side panels are hinged to the side surface of the bottom plate through the hinge pieces, and the side panels are spliced into an accommodating space with a closed side surface along the side surface of the bottom plate; one end of the supporting piece is arranged on the side panels, and the other end of the supporting piece is supported on the inner side surface of the flowerpot body; and the supporting legs are arranged at the bottom of the bottom plate. The invention further discloses a seawall greening method using the planting device. The flowerpot body and the cultivation part are detachably connected, the cultivation part canconveniently discharge cultivation soil, and the seawall can be effectively greened.
