The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing silica sol, S2, preparingcalcium oxide powder and active magnesium oxide powder, S3, preparing raw slurry, S4, preparing a magnesium-xonotlite active slurry, and S5, standing, precipitating the magnesium-xonotlite active slurry, removing the supernatant, injecting the lower active slurry into a forming mold, filtering out water in the slurry at a pressurization rate of 5-10N/s, maintaining the pressure for 60s at 2-4KN, demolding, and drying to obtain the finished product. By adopting the preparation method of the calcium magnesium silicate thermal insulation material, the prepared plate has the characteristics of light weight, incombustibility, environmental protection (no formaldehyde or benzene), sound attenuation, heat transfer, fire prevention, moisture prevention, stress resistance, excellent thermal insulation performance, excellent durability and the like, and meets the requirements of the current national and provincial building energy-saving design standard and fire prevention specification.
