The invention discloses a temporary overpass for road construction. A main support shell is included. A working cavity is formed in the main supporting shell. A through hole connected with the outsideis formed in the inner wall of the left side of the working cavity; an overpass moving assembly is arranged in the working cavity; the overpass moving assembly comprises a fixed block fixedly arranged on the inner wall of the upper side of the working cavity, a horizontal support fixedly arranged at the right end of the fixed block and extending to the outside through the through hole, three moving supports connected with the horizontal support in a sliding mode and connected with one another in a sliding mode, and an auxiliary supporting shell fixedly arranged at the right end of the movingsupport on the rightmost side. The auxiliary supporting shell is driven to be far away from the main support shell through movement of the moving supports so that a temporary overpass is formed, a temporary passage is provided for pedestrians and vehicles coming and going, inconvenience caused by construction is reduced, road surface construction cannot be affected, and passersby can be reminded to carefully pass through the temporary overpass through rotation of a warning lamp.
