The invention provides a mounting structure of an arc-shaped external-corner adapter of an assembly type skirting line. The mounting structure involves a wall surface, the skirting line and the arc-shaped adapter, wherein the arc-shaped adapter comprises an arc-shaped external-corner clamping plate and an arc-shaped external-corner cover plate, one surface of the arc-shaped external-corner clamping plate is fixedly connected to an external corner of the wall surface, two first clamping grooves are formed in the other surface of the arc-shaped external-corner clamping plate, the cross section of each first clamping groove is triangular, at least one second clamping groove is formed in each of the two sides of the arc-shaped external-corner clamping plate, two clamping hooks are arranged onthe arc-shaped external-corner cover plate and clamped into the first clamping grooves, at least one third clamping groove is formed in each of the two sides of the arc-shaped external-corner cover plate, a first protruding part and a second protruding part are arranged on the skirting line, the first protruding part is clamped into the second clamping grooves, and the second protruding part is clamped into the third clamping grooves. A mounting method of the arc-shaped external-corner adapter of the assembly type skirting line is provided. The structure is easy to install, manual cutting andseam aligning treatment is not needed, and potential safety hazards can be avoided.
