The invention discloses a gypsum board with an ultra-strong sound insulation effect. The gypsum board is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 6-10 percent of modified starch, 0.2-0.5 percent of retarder, 0.1-0.2 percent of water reducing agent, 0.5-2 percent of air entraining agent, 0.1-0.2 percent of modified graphene oxide, 1-3 percent of magnesium-aluminum hydrotalcite and the balance of desulfurized gypsum powder. In order to achieve an ultra-strong sound insulation effect, magnesium-aluminum hydrotalcite with a layered structure is added into the gypsum board disclosed by the invention; meanwhile, the organic silicon modified starch reacts with the desulfurized gypsum powder in the gypsum board, and a film-shaped structure is formed on the basis of the silane modified graphene oxide, so that the consumption of sound waves by the gypsum board is further improved, and finally, the ultra-strong sound insulation effect is achieved.
