The invention discloses an angular tower for a power transmission line in an icing area. The angular tower comprises a tower body and a cross arm, wherein the cross arm comprises two cross arm bodieswhich are sequentially and fixedly arranged on the upper section of the tower body from top to bottom, each cross arm body is of a truss structure and comprises a truss girder which forms an airflow loop and a reinforcing rod, the truss girders are sequentially connected end to end to form an isosceles trapezoid, and the reinforcing rods are fixedly arranged between the bottom edges and the waistsof the isosceles trapezoid; and the truss girders are hollow pipes, fan for forming airflow circulation and electric heating wires for heating gas are arranged inside the truss girders, and insulating outer layers are arranged on the surfaces of the truss girders. When the angular tower operates in the extremely cold icing area, ice on the cross arm can be effectively removed in time, the mechanical load of the cross arm is reduced, the ice flashover and lightning stroke prevention capacity of the iron tower is improved, and the safe, stable and energy-saving operation of a power transmissionsystem is guaranteed.
