The invention discloses a buffering type isolation barrier. The buffer type isolation pier comprises a base and a protective column, a balancing weight abuts against the inner bottom of the base, a connecting shaft is fixed to the upper end of the balancing weight, the upper end of the connecting shaft is rotationally connected with the bottom of the protective column, and two sets of control mechanisms which are symmetrically arranged are arranged on the inner wall of the base. A swing groove is formed in the upper end of the base in a penetrating mode, the connecting shaft penetrates throughthe swing groove, two air storage grooves are formed in the upper end of the base, and partition plates are fixed to the inner walls of the two air storage grooves. The buffering type isolation barrier has the advantages that by arranging the balancing weight, the center of the combined structure of the protection column, the connecting shaft and the balancing weight is concentrated on the balancing weight, so that the protection column can reset automatically to keep an isolated state after being impacted, and manual management is not needed; and in addition, in the slight collision process,damage to the vehicle can be reduced through active receding of the protection columns, and excessive friction damage is avoided.
