The invention relates to a channel steel gate on-site rust removal and corrosion prevention protection structure and a rust removal and corrosion prevention method. The channel steel gate on-site rustremoval and corrosion prevention protection structure comprises a bottom protection structure, a peripheral protective structure and a sand blasting derusting device, wherein the bottom protection structure comprises a frame plate laid on a working bridge floor at the top end of a gate groove, a layer of canvas is laid on the frame plate, and a gate is lifted above the canvas; the peripheral protective structure comprises a protective net which is hung on bent frame columns on the periphery of the gate and is as high as the gate, and the gate is wrapped inside the protective net; and the sandblasting derusting device is arranged on the working bridge floor and used for performing sand blasting derusting on the gate. The field gate anti-corrosion construction is adopted, so that the transportation, disassembly and assembly cost can be saved, the construction progress can be accelerated, while the construction quality is guaranteed, due to the fact that environment-friendly rust removal and paint spraying materials are adopted, protection is performed, and waste sand is collected in time, the water quality safety in a water passing operation period is guaranteed. Even if the watertransfer operation is in emergency, the gate needs to be controlled, normal operation of the gate can be recovered within the shortest time, and guaranteeing the water transfer safety of the main canal along the gate station is facilitated.
