The invention relates to the field of steel structure roof panel construction, in particular to an auxiliary installation tool for a steel structure light roof panel and an operation method of the auxiliary installation tool. The auxiliary installation tool is characterized in that the auxiliary installation tool comprises a track and a steel frame, the width of the track is matched with that of aroof beam, and the steel frame is formed by connecting long side frames and wide side frames through bolts; and frame feet are arranged at the bottoms of the long side frames or the wide side frames,the bottoms of the frame feet are connected with wheels and limiting devices, and a plurality of hanging points of a chain block are arranged at the bottoms of the long side frames. Compared with theprior art, the auxiliary installation tool has the beneficial effects that (1) mounting personnel can easily complete moving and mounting operation of the light roof panel on a steel structure roof by means of the installation tool, manpower is saved, and rapid paving of the light roof panel can be achieved; 2) the risk of edge operation of workers is reduced, and the safety coefficient of construction is greatly improved; and 3) the auxiliary installation tool can be recycled, so that the practical value of the auxiliary installation tool is greatly improved, and the auxiliary installation tool can be popularized and used in similar application occasions.
