The invention provides an installation method for a unit window with a stand column module. An installation device comprises a mobile robot including a lifting system, a suction cup frame, glass suction cups and a unit window fixing device. The suction cup frame comprises a first plane, a second plane and a third plane, the first plane, the second plane and the third plane are connected to form aC shape, and a space between the first plane and the second plane is used for accommodating a column in front of a main body structure of the unit window to be installed; the glass suction cups are fixed on the second plane, and the glass suction cups are used for adsorbing glass of the unit window; and the unit window fixing device is arranged on the main body structure of the unit window to be installed. Indoor installation by the robot is not affected by weather at all, and the construction period can be effectively shortened; the condition of stopping construction when it is dark is avoided due to indoor mounting by the robot; and the robot installation control precision is easy to control, the robot installation precision is higher than manual installation precision, and the design requirement is easier to meet.
